Glenda has a new poetry collection coming in Fall 2023 from Finishing Line Press. The book is called Weaver's Knot: Poems and includes many of Glenda's published as well as unpublished poems. Watch the space for information about pre-publication orders!

Eve's Garden made it to Small Press Distribution's Fiction Bestseller List! We're sending up small flares in gratitude to our readers and all the fabulous bookstore clerks who have handsold the book.

The wonderful poet, William Kelley Woolfitt, has a fabulous blog. He interviewed Glenda about her chapbook, sa-co-ni-ge/blue smoke, with interesting results. In the interview, Glenda explains the genesis of her popular poem, "An Incantation for My Grandmothers." Find it here: https://chapbookinterviews.wordpress.com/2014/11/13/glenda-bailey-mershon/_

Glenda is available for workshops, talks, and readings.
Every year, Glenda prepares a few short workshop topics for libraries, bookstores, and community groups, which she offers for free. Below is this year's list. She is available from March through October.
  • "Three Exercises to Keep Your Pen Flowing"
  • "Five Things I Learned on the Way to Publication"
  • "Good Habits for Writers: Train yourself, Train your Family, Train Your Friends!"
  • "Building Scenes That Snap and Crackle"
  • "Let's Play: Poetry Into Prose, and Vice Versa"
  • "Learning to Sip: Poetry as Distilled Spirit"
Glenda will also customize a workshop for your group, given enough lead time.

Zany, stately, or ridiculous, we'd like to see how you express your opinion about the book. Here's a first, from Bobbie Bear of California, who seems to be taking it very seriously.
